Technical Parameter Analysis of Autochips AC7805x

Introduction

Under the UNECE WP.29 regulatory framework, all newly produced vehicles must comply with R155 (Cybersecurity) and R156 (Software Updates) requirements from July 1, 2024. In China, the mandatory national standards GB 44495—2024 (Automotive Cybersecurity) and GB 44496—2024 (Automotive Software Updates) were officially released in 2024 and will take effect on January 1, 2026.
These standards define clear requirements for vehicle cybersecurity management, technical safeguards, and software update mechanisms, providing a regulatory and technical foundation for the safe development of intelligent and connected vehicles.
In response to these requirements, we recommend the AC7805, a new flagship member of GAC Technology’s AC780 series. AC7805 supports ASIL-B functional safety, complies with ISO/SAE 21434, and meets EVITA Light security requirements, offering a cost-effective and standards-compliant cybersecurity solution for automotive applications.
